About Us

Brunswick Therapy Services was established by Nick Gully, who is a senior therapist who has worked in the field for over nineteen years. Nick is the previous Director of Addiction Services at the Priory Hospital, London and the Clinical Manager of Lifeworks, Surrey.

Nick has trained with some of the leading therapists in the USA, such as Dr Patrick Carnes, Pia Mellody, John Bradshaw, Terence Gorski, Brenda Schaefer and Claudia Black and is also a part-time lecturer at Brighton University, specialising in addiction and CBT ( Cognitive Behavioural Therapy ). He qualified as an addictions counsellor in 1993 and as a general therapist in 1999.

Each of our Counsellors have completed a foundation training prior to completing their core training in counselling and therapy and are either accredited by a relevant professional body, or actively pursuing this. 

Our Counsellors continue to engage in ongoing professional training and development and their clinical work is monitored through regular "supervision" with a senior therapist in the field.
